The classroom sessions were highly interactive and lively, fostering an environment where learning was both engaging and enjoyable. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1 (08/09/25 - 12/09/25) School induction phase 2 8/9/25 to 12/9/25 This week, school reopened after the Onam vacation, and the atmosphere was lively and refreshing. I reached school 15 minutes early every day, and classes ran from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. We also helped with the distribution of the mid-day meal, which was a fulfilling experience seeing students enjoy their food and appreciating the effort behind it. On 8th September, we checked exam papers and appreciated every student’s effort. We noticed that some students needed extra support, so we planned remedial classes for those who scored lower marks. The week was also marked by a Parents-Teachers Meeting, where we could meet parents, discuss their children’s progress, and address any concerns. Apart from these events, regular classroom activities continued smoothly. Students were attentive and curious, making teaching enjoyable. Interacting with them during lessons and activities reminded me o...

As part of our responsibilities, we were assigned invigilation duty for the exams, ensuring that the examination process was conducted smoothly and fairly. This role allowed us to play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity of the exams while also providing support to our peers. In addition to our invigilation duties, we were also involved in organizing students and managing the distribution of exam papers. SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I (04/08/2025 – 08/08/2025) This week was filled with responsibilities and valuable experiences as a teacher. I introduced several new initiatives in my class to make learning more engaging. One such initiative was the introduction of a “Word of the Day” activity, which encouraged students to learn and use a new English word each day. Additionally, I started rewarding students with small gifts like chocolates and pens for submitting assignments on time. This idea of positive reinforcement brought noticeable changes in their attitude and motivation toward learning. The Hiroshima Day programs were conducted successfully. During the morning assembly, students made paper cranes (Zudokus) and placards promoting peace and condemning war. They also prepared class magazines for Moon Day, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The principal announced that the best magazine would receive a special prize, which added excitement among the students. This week also in...

School Internship Phase II (11/08/2025 – 15/08/2025) This week was one of the most exciting and eventful weeks of my internship journey. The school was filled with patriotic spirit as we prepared for the Independence Day celebrations. The students were busy with practices, decorating the campus, and rehearsing for cultural performances. The air was full of enthusiasm and joy! In my class, I continued the “Word of the Day” activity, which has now become a part of our daily routine. The students eagerly wait to learn the new word each morning and try to use it in sentences during the day. Their vocabulary and confidence in speaking English have improved remarkably in a short time. We also completed a few portions of the textbook this week. I introduced some creative classroom activities, including group discussions and short quizzes, to make the lessons more interactive. The students were responsive and energetic, which made the classes truly enjoyable. The highlight of the week was...
