SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE I
(04/08/2025 – 08/08/2025)
This week was filled with responsibilities and valuable experiences as a teacher.
I introduced several new initiatives in my class to make learning more engaging. One such initiative was the introduction of a “Word of the Day” activity, which encouraged students to learn and use a new English word each day. Additionally, I started rewarding students with small gifts like chocolates and pens for submitting assignments on time. This idea of positive reinforcement brought noticeable changes in their attitude and motivation toward learning.
The Hiroshima Day programs were conducted successfully. During the morning assembly, students made paper cranes (Zudokus) and placards promoting peace and condemning war. They also prepared class magazines for Moon Day, showcasing their creativity and teamwork. The principal announced that the best magazine would receive a special prize, which added excitement among the students.
This week also included an observation by Soumya Ma’am, which went very well. The students cooperated enthusiastically and participated in all the activities and exercises I conducted. I was pleased to see their steady progress—they are becoming more disciplined and consistent in submitting their notes and assignments.
Although the week was quite hectic with regular classes, special programs, and preparations for Independence Day celebrations, it was deeply rewarding. The students’ enthusiasm and active participation made the experience fulfilling and me
morable.
