School Internship Phase II
(11/08/2025 – 15/08/2025)
This week was one of the most exciting and eventful weeks of my internship journey. The school was filled with patriotic spirit as we prepared for the Independence Day celebrations. The students were busy with practices, decorating the campus, and rehearsing for cultural performances. The air was full of enthusiasm and joy!
In my class, I continued the “Word of the Day” activity, which has now become a part of our daily routine. The students eagerly wait to learn the new word each morning and try to use it in sentences during the day. Their vocabulary and confidence in speaking English have improved remarkably in a short time.
We also completed a few portions of the textbook this week. I introduced some creative classroom activities, including group discussions and short quizzes, to make the lessons more interactive. The students were responsive and energetic, which made the classes truly enjoyable.
The highlight of the week was, of course, Independence Day. The celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. Students presented speeches, patriotic songs, and flash mobs that beautifully portrayed the theme of freedom and unity. Watching my students perform so confidently on stage made me feel proud as their teacher.
By the end of the week, I felt a deep sense of satisfaction. The bond I share with my students has grown stronger, and their enthusiasm motivates me every day. This week reminded me once again why teaching is not just a profession but a joyful journey of learning, sharing, and growing together
