School induction phase 2

8/9/25 to 12/9/25

This week, school reopened after the Onam vacation, and the atmosphere was lively and refreshing. I reached school 15 minutes early every day, and classes ran from 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. We also helped with the distribution of the mid-day meal, which was a fulfilling experience seeing students enjoy their food and appreciating the effort behind it.


On 8th September, we checked exam papers and appreciated every student’s effort. We noticed that some students needed extra support, so we planned remedial classes for those who scored lower marks. The week was also marked by a Parents-Teachers Meeting, where we could meet parents, discuss their children’s progress, and address any concerns.


Apart from these events, regular classroom activities continued smoothly. Students were attentive and curious, making teaching enjoyable. Interacting with them during lessons and activities reminded me of the joy of seeing young minds learn and grow.


Overall, the week was a mix of routine, celebration, and reflection. From helping with meals to planning remedial classes and meeting parents, each day brought a new learning experience. I feel grateful for these moments and look forward to continuing to support students and contribute to their growth in the coming weeks.

 We kicked off our teaching practice this week, starting with a meeting with the principal at 9:30 am. After getting assigned our tasks before the Onam exams. I focused on building rapport with students on the first day. From the second day, I began teaching classes and used substitution periods to engage students in interactive vocabulary-building activities. Stepping into the teacher's role was a new experience, and I enjoyed sharing knowledge with my students. Although there were no classes on Friday due to a strike, we still attended school and used the time to complete our tasks.  SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE-1 (28/07/2025 - 01/08/2025) Unlike last week everyday was working day this week. Our optional teacher came to school for Observation on Wednesday. We all wore saree that day. The classes went well and Shahaana miss pointed out our positive and negative sides of the class. Assembly was conducted this week as it wasn't rainy anymore. Many Students got prizes for the programmes conducted by different clubs of school. I also got acknowledged my our teacher on assembly for helping her shoot a Role play video for English club. That made me so happy and proud. Also Zumba class were conducted by Hari sir for students and that was an interesting and fun session. We helped the teachers by taking pictures and videos. First day at college

 On the 15th of July, my first day at college unfolded with much excitement and anticipation. The day began with an address by the principal, who warmly welcomed us while outlining the college's rules, regulations, and expectations. I found his words inspiring and motivating, as he emphasized the values and standards our college holds. The day itself was rainy, which added a refreshing and somewhat dramatic backdrop to this new beginning. Despite the weather, the atmosphere inside was warm and filled with the energy of students eager to embark on their college journey. Everyone seemed as eager as I was to get to know each other, and we exchanged introductions that revealed each person's unique qualities.
